Every website uses tracking tools to track their visitor counts, referrals and various other statistics. We might have seen various people hiding their sitemeter link using an invisible counter or other hacks. There are certain benefits that “showing up your statistics, traffic” gives you,but their are also some drawbacks of openly showing sitemeter or statcounter traffic statistics.
WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE INVISIBLE TRAFFIC TRACKER TOOLS:
I will list the reasons below,
- If your website/blog is new and have very less visitors then showing your number of visitors might bring in an impression that your website is less valuable.
- You show other people how your traffic originates and if they are at your same niche or your competitor, then he might use it to gain an advantage over you.
- The search keyword that brings most of the visitor to your blog is shown openly in sitemeter and statcounter tracking which is also not in the safer side.
so,In my opinion showing traffic counter statistics is not always a good idea!
What is your thought?Any idea?
