Sensehow migrated from bluehost to knownhost

Sensehow.com is now in Knownhost vps server.Previously i hosted it in bluehost which on my view is the best shared hosting ever.I never had a downtime or other problems in bluehost.They provided everything readymade to me and i learned the basics of webhosting in bluehost.I also never faced a bandwidth problem even after consuming more than 10 Gb bandwidth for the past 2 months(from 4 of my sites).I knew i am over using their resources and should pack up to a new location.

Why i selected Vps In Knownhost?

I had several blogger blogs with a decent traffic.This month at 9th blogger deleted thousands of blogs for no reason and informing it as spam to the owner.My blog with 20,000,000 page views which i started in 2007 got deleted by their automatic spam detection bots.I tried a lot to get my blog back but it was of no use.Then i decided this is a good time to move my other 3 blogs away from blogger,(Now www.mobilewix.com).

Since bluehost shared hosting wont like me to migrate a high traffic blogger blog to them,i decided to go with virtual private server VPS to maintain all my websites under on account.I analysed number of vps providers before i joined knownhost,But finally selected knownhost because

*a lot of webmasters recommend it

*Very good reviews about knownhost vps

*Many high traffic blogs are hosted at knownhost

*And it has the cheapest plan VS2 for 512 mb ram,30 GB space and 750 GB bandwidth when compared to all other hosts like hostgator and dreamhost for vps.

How much did it cost?

I purchased vs2 plan since it allows installation of cpanel.So i had to pay,

VS2 PLAN: $35 PER MONTH

CPANEL : $5 PER MONTH

FANTASTICO INSTALLER: $1 PER MONTH.

So i had to pay a total of $41 each month.I got a discount of 75% for the first month using the coupon code “KH2010″ and i paid only $10 for now.

I have to say about knownhost customer support,I have never seen any host respond such faster like knownhost.Most of the time i got a reply within 1 or 2 minutes and they are always ready to solve our problem themselves.They are the one who migrated sensehow.com along with other blogs to knownhost within 2 hours.I had some problems after migration which i will let you know in the coming posts.

Many users have reported me of my blog loading faster after moving to knowhost vps.I have not yet learned all their facilities,but hopefully will do it within few days.Happy to let you know about a new step in sensehow.com’s growth.
