Hi,i hope all the paypal personal users and merchants are happy today?Yes since the Paypal team’s Farhad Irani posted in the paypal’s blog that “All local bank transfers to india will be resumed on March 3rd”.Since February 2 there has been lot of problems for paypal users. The personal payments to and from india was reversed and then no funds were transferred to the local banks of india.
Now after several talks with the reserve bank of india (RBI) Paypal has finally solved the problem for local bank transfer of your paypal funds.I also had an email from paypal(I hope all paypal users received it?)
Today, we are happy to announce that the RBI has allowed us to continue local bank withdrawals for settlements for exports of goods and services. We are currently making changes to comply with Indian regulations for settlements for exports of goods and services, and we anticipate that, as of Wednesday, March 3rd, customers will be able to use our bank withdrawal service. As part of the changes, you will be required to fill out a new field entitled 'Export Code' when you request a withdrawal. This information is required under the current laws of India in order to identify the nature of cross-border merchant transactions.
But there is no chance for the personal payments to be resumed now,Also there will be additional steps imposed for paypal personal payments of RBI’s terms and conditions in india. So im happy to know bank transfer is enabled and whats your reaction on it friends?
