If you have forgotton your administrator password in MAC osX dont worry you can reset the password by following certain simple steps.admin account is the one created during installation of the OS.Now for you to change the administrator password you need your mac installation cd.it should the same or closer version.
How to reset admin password in MAC OSX:
1.Insert the mac osx disc into the computer.restart and hold c key when it boots.
2.now when it boots from the cd,choose reset password option from the installer menu(or utilities menu in mac osx 10.4)
3.select the mac hard disk volume or partition you installed.
4.select the username of your admin account.Note that you should not select system administrator since it is the root user and its different from your normal admin user account.
5.now you can enter and new password for mac osx and click save.
