How to reinstall wordpress or repair-check database errors

If your wordpress blog is taking too much time to load or showing too many errors which cannot be fixed on by one then their might be database errors.If your blog is hacked then to restore your blog you need to know about this to re-enable your blog back to working condition.

How to repair database?

First login to cpanel of your hosting an click Mysql databases and under your manage databases option you will find the database of your wordpress blog and an option to check the database or repair it.Select either check database or repair database.

Now this could solve the problem for your blog but if still you experience errors in your wp-admin then re-installing your blog might be a good idea and to do so follow the below steps.

Reinstalling wordpress blog is simple if you follow it in the right way.

First go to your cpanel and under the files bar, select Backup and under this you will find three options.One is the full site backup and other is database backup and scheduled backups.Now select database backup and create a database back up.

Now if you host your files in a separate folder,download the entire folder to your desktop using ftp.

Inside your wp-admin under the export option in the tools menu,export all your posts,comments and data and save it in your desktop.

The go to file manager in your cpanel or using ftp download all the theme files and plugin folder.This might be useful to make your blog look the same after re-installing without working again.

Now go to fantastico or simple scripts(whatever is provided in your hosting) and uninstall the current installation and re-install wordpress in the same directory using the same settings.

Change your permalinks structure similiar to the previous one.Update your .htaccess file as it was before.

Upload the theme and plugin folders.

Goto your wp-admin and import all the posts that you previously exported to export file in your desktop.
