since this version of iphone doesnt have any baseband update it is easy to jailbreak or unlock it via other guides.now for this let itunes update and restore you to 3.0.1 and then run redsnow.now when redsnow asks you to identify IPSW password point it to 3.0 ipsw and never point to the 3.0.1.
