How to downgrade iphone os baseband from 4.26 to 4.22

In the previous post we saw how to downgrade iphone from baseband 4.26 to 2.28 and in this post lets see how to downgrade iphone baseband from 4.26 to 4.22.

follow the steps below to successfully downgrade iphone baseband,

• your iphone firmware should be 3.0 and jailbroken and OpenSSH installed in it.
• launch icy or cydia to install 3g baseband downgrade(bigboss repo)
• download bbdowngrade patch(megaupload linsk)
• now copy the BBupdaterextreme into /applications/3GBBD on the phone.overwrite the current file.
• set the permissions for BBupdaterextreme AS 777
• Now copy the fls and eep file from 4.26 folder in the downloaded BB patch into/applicationS/3GBBD on the phone.overwrite the current files.
• in your iphone run 3GBBD in springboard and select go and wait for few mins.after completion you will see success in green screen.
• note you should not click go again and instead select home and reboot your phone.
• after your iphone is on go to settings/general and verify your baseband version is 2.28
• now copy the fls and eep files from the 4.22 folder and into the downloaded patch into applications/3GBBD on the phone.select overwrite files.
• run 3GBBD in the springboard and hit go only once(dont do twice) and wait for few minutes.you will see green success screen once its completed.
• select home and reboot
• after its on,select settings/general/about and check your version is 4.22
• insert your sim adapter now.
