This article is to help newbies and I have listed only the basic advertising networks that every blogger must be aware of and those of which all of us use when we first start blogging.

Google AdSense

As of now, there is no alternative choice for bloggers regarding content based advertising network. AdSense is the highest paying advertising network and it is the only network that is used by each and every blogger. You can find AdSense ads in almost every blog you visit( even this blog has it). But now getting into AdSense is the toughest part for newbies. But don’t worry, keep adding quality content and once the traffic increases submit your AdSense application and most probably you’ll be approved. There are other advertising networks such as  Adbrite,Chitika,Infolinks,Kontera which can be used along with adsense.

So all the above networks pay you on a pay per click basis. from my experience I have got $0.01 to $12 per click from AdSense and it is a really good network when you start .

Amazon Affiliates

Amazon is the world’s largest online shopping provider. They provide affiliate commissions for almost all the products in their network. You have to sign up for the amazon associates program to start promoting amazon products. Whenever a visitor clicks on your affiliate link or banner provided by amazon associates network and then purchases any product you Will earn a commission. It ranges from 1% to 8.5%. Just search for relevant products based on your post/blog niche and promote them through your blog.

Click bank

Clickbank is the biggest affiliate network with thousands of digital products. The best aspect of clickbank is that it provides upto 75% commission when a person buys through your affiliate link. There is no sick approval process and you can just sign up to take part in the programme. They do have wide range of products in most of the niche.

Other affiliate programs

For each and every products that you buy online, there must be an affiliate program in the backend. If you buy a domain, it has an affiliate program that provides $1.50-$3 per domain. If you refer a friend to a web hosting program you receive $20-$100 in commission. So whenever a product fits into your blog category or topic, just check out if it has an affiliate program and promote those products along with useful content explaining why the product is useful for your visitor. CJ.com,Shareasale.com are two other major affiliate networks.

I have a few points supporting why blogging is the best and most reliable way to make money online against other Internet marketing, outsourcing,mlm, online services,CPA or any other method you keep secret for yourself to make money online. I assume you would agree to the below points, but I am always open for any kind of feedback.

I am a person who has tried out all the methods online. I started with online surveys, paid to view ads and few other scams and then stepped into blogging,CPA,Online services,Product creation and Affiliate Marketing. I have pretty good experience in all the methods and only after involving in all of them for atleast 6 months each I can bet you that blogging is the most reliable way for online income.

1. I have blogs which I created in 2007 which are left unmonitored, they still earn me a decent figures each month.
2. I can blog whenever I feel like doing so. I don’t have any conditions that I have to write a post everyday and the revenue don’t go to the ground for at least a few months. But if you are into a CPA network, online service you will have to monitor it every day to make sure you sustain your earnings.
3. Whenever you add content to your blog, you are adding to its value. Your blog is your valuable online property which pays back for whatever work you put in to it.
4. You don’t need to satisfy anyone by blogging. You post your own ideas and accept both positive and negative feedback. But in other methods you will have to satisfy your client, Answer all his questions and after all that he may not be satisfied. Dealing with CPA networks will also cause you the same problem of satisfying your affiliate managers. You should be afraid and be cautious of the terms and conditions or a instant ban.
5. Your blog is your brand. No other online income method will make you famous giving you enough revenue at the same time.
6. There are countless monetization methods. You can use all other methods CPA,Affiliate networks,Services to monetize your blog.
7. Anyone can run a blog. You don’t require too many skills to run a successful blog. You can just follow the paths of another successful blogger and still be successful. But in other methods you will need to experience hard times and struggle to make your first $ online. Further, not much information is available to learn other income methods. Even if they are available, the creators censor all the secrets for themselves and let you know only the basics.
8. Your blog can be sold for six times its revenue. I don’t mean that you have to sell it, but it’s a great feeling to know you are secured and has a property that’s valuable.
9. You can easily expand blogging to the next level. Multi-Author blogging is now more common. You can add any number of authors to blog and it grows even more faster.
10. You can predict/guess your revenue that you’ll make a few months later. And you will also able to see your earnings increasing regularly day by day as long as you spend time for your blog. Can anyone in another online  business be so sure that his earnings will continue to increase since he puts in effort every day? No, they know they have to put in a lot of work to increase their revenue, but they cannot be sure about the returns even after huge investment and hours of work.

11 STEPS TO INCREASE GOOGLE PAGERANK:

Write unique content:

Optimize your blog or website with proper meta tags and keywords and title.Make the entire blog relevant to the subject and title.

Don’t overstuff your keyword:

Keywords are important for seo,but if you stuff it more inside your posts then your post will rank low and also will lose its importance.

Share to social bookmarks,Digg:

Share your posts to social bookmarking sites like digg,technorati etc.Those sites have greater google love and will definitely pass on to you.

Write and Publish Articles to Directories:

Write articles and publish it to relevent article directories with a link to your website/blog.The link should contain your anchor text or keyword.

Involve in Forum discussions:

Signup to forums and other websites which give you a profile page and signature link.Pink your profile page on forums with a link back to your website.

Blog commenting-Link Exchange:

comment in related blogs and exchange links with websites in your niche.Do not overdo it and make it appear as spam to google.

Use a better Hosting:

Always use a better hosting like bluehost,hostgator or dreamhost when you start your blog and expand it to bigger plans when you get more visitors and bandwidth.This is because when you choose cheap hosting,your website will be down most of the time when google tries to access your webpage.So get a better hosting and if possible a unique ip address for your website.

My Efforts to Restore my deleted blogger blog:

I can’t let a blog where i learned blogging freeze away and also was not able to accept that my blog was a spam.So i tried to restore my blog,

1. I submitted an request for bloggers review using the restore access link that was provided in blogger’s dashboard.(They said it was due to automatic spam bots error and will be corrected within 2 days)
2. I also submitted my blog url for spam appeal using google spreadsheet here
3. I posted about this issue in the bloggers help forum and requested for help.
4. I emailed blogger support to take a look at my blog and atleast provide an option for me to migrate from blogger to wordpress.

I never got an reply! They are good at support

They never replied me after struggling hard for more than 10 days to contact them.Every process they said that could help were useless and my emails to blogger were never noticed.The only place i could get  reply is bloggers help forum and that too was by a guy “nitecruzr” who sent the same copy paste reply for all questions and the same for all.(he receives a good traffic to his blog using this).

I informed him that there was no reply from blogger and my blog remains deleted for the past 10 days.He said that “he has escalated this issue to blogger”(Here again the same copy paste he used for others with same issue). Even after that people from blogger didn’t respond and so i thought to contact others with the same issue,what i came to know was,

“THOUSANDS OF BLOGS ARE BEING DELETED FROM BLOGGER EVERYDAY FOR OVER TRAFFIC,ALL THE BLOGS DELETED BY BLOGGER HAD HIGH TRAFFIC,AND NONE OF THEM RECEIVED A REPLY WHEN THEY REQUESTED FOR REVIEW” so blogger deletes high traffic blogs under the cover of spam.

Why did i write about this?

I wrote about blogger deleting my blog to make other people aware of this issue.If you have a blog with high traffic and making good money immediately migrate to wordpress.Because deleting your blog is a not a matter for blogger but it really matters for you.You never can get your blog once it is deleted by blogger.

When you paste the Google AdSense, AdBrite, Chitika or any other javascript ad code into your xml Blogger template only do get an error like:

“Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The processing instruction target matching “[xX][mM][lL]” is not allowed.”

or

“Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.“.

So use this tool to convert javascript to be posted into xml template of blogger.
