Is firefox saving your images as a firefox document?Are you not able to save any type of document from firefox to desktop?This is a simple problem but the reasons for this error may be many.To solve firefox image being saved as url document follow the below steps.
1.Remove all entries from your downloads.
2.In your firefox tools>options>save files to> browse and add an existing folder to this option.
3.Go to tools>options>applications and check for image extensions and then make them to open with their default image software or change the options from “always ask” to “save file”.
Now if you are not able to save any images in firefox you have now solved the problem.
