Last week i got an email from blogger informing that my blogger blog www.blog2best.blogspot.com was deleted since their automatic spam prevention bots indicated it was a spam blog.I was shocked because it was the blog where i learned blogging and it has earned me over 3 lakhs indian rupees over the past one year(without proper updates).It was a pagerank 2 blog with 2000 visits per day on average and a total of 30,00,000 page views.I had planned to migrate it to wordpress this july after my exams.I didn’t understand why my blog was deleted,when there were no aspects of a spam blog in it.
The email i got from blogger is

Your blog at http://blog2best.blogspot.com/ has been reviewed and confirmed as in violation of our Terms of Service for: SPAM. In accordance to these terms, we’ve removed the blog and the URL is no longer accessible.

My Efforts to Restore my deleted blogger blog:
I can’t let a blog where i learned blogging freeze away and also was not able to accept that my blog was a spam.So i tried to restore my blog,
- I submitted an request for bloggers review using the restore access link that was provided in blogger’s dashboard.(They said it was due to automatic spam bots error and will be corrected within 2 days)
- I also submitted my blog url for spam appeal using google spreadsheet here
- I posted about this issue in the bloggers help forum and requested for help.
- I emailed blogger support to take a look at my blog and atleast provide an option for me to migrate from blogger to wordpress.
I never got an reply! They are good at support
They never replied me after struggling hard for more than 10 days to contact them.Every process they said that could help were useless and my emails to blogger were never noticed.The only place i could get reply is bloggers help forum and that too was by a guy “nitecruzr” who sent the same copy paste reply for all questions and the same for all.(he receives a good traffic to his blog using this).
I informed him that there was no reply from blogger and my blog remains deleted for the past 10 days.He said that “he has escalated this issue to blogger”(Here again the same copy paste he used for others with same issue). Even after that people from blogger didn’t respond and so i thought to contact others with the same issue,what i came to know was,
“THOUSANDS OF BLOGS ARE BEING DELETED FROM BLOGGER EVERYDAY FOR OVER TRAFFIC,ALL THE BLOGS DELETED BY BLOGGER HAD HIGH TRAFFIC,AND NONE OF THEM RECEIVED A REPLY WHEN THEY REQUESTED FOR REVIEW” so blogger deletes high traffic blogs under the cover of spam.
Why did i write about this?
I wrote about blogger deleting my blog to make other people aware of this issue.If you have a blog with high traffic and making good money immediately migrate to wordpress.Because deleting your blog is a not a matter for blogger but it really matters for you.You never can get your blog once it is deleted by blogger.

My blog hack-genius.blogspot.com got delted with no reason….. i contacted google.. even called them but i didnt get ny positive reply from.. them i was having a good alexa and… almost 1000-1500 visitirs and i was getting 7$ frm adsense perday to… but… unfortunatly… everythg..f**cked up. i hate blogger now…… x-(
I have been reading this same old frustrating complaints all these time, and I thought it will not happen to me. Until one fine day after three (3) years when my blogs were getting good traffic and earning equally good money from Adsense, BAM! Blogger suddenly said that all my seven blogs are SPAMS! Topic on public speaking, songwriting, motivational stuff, etc.
For those of you won’t really want to earn money from your blogs, don’t waste time on Blogger. You will regret it one day just like so many innocent victims. And for those who are still on Blogger, quick backup all your posts. You never know Blogger will suspend or rather banish your blog.
Frankly I don’t hate Blogger, but I hate myself for NOT believing to all those grouses and rantings all these time.
Same story happens with my blog autostream.blogspot.com. I have 200-300 unique visitors daily on this blog and never brake any rules. My blog was started in 2008 and there was about 800+ posts written by me. You can read my discussion with blog support there (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=6a51b753f0dc0c4d&hl=en&fid=6a51b753f0dc0c4d000495bed8937a28) I advice all guys who use blogger CREATE DAILY BACKUP of all posts because you will not have any way to get back your posts when your blog will be locked. Will never use BLOGGER IN FUTURE. Blogger is SCAM.
Blogger is only for learning about blogging,if we stick to it for long time,we will need to worry about it later

Same was with my http://www.hotcelebsandmodels.blogspot.com
It was ok for almost a year and when i started to have almost 2k uniques everyday it gets locked for spam and , i appealed same bulls*** , and i asked help in their forums and request was sent directly to that “Spam team” and i got answer later that my blog was confirmed as a spam or for breaking their TOS and it will not be unlocked.
Bla bla bla…
Don’t use blogger or if you use, use it for random shit only.

Are you saying that the reason why Blogger deleted my blog was because it was becoming successful and not for that crappy excuse about splogging? I lost my blog and it was a good one. Now the only thing left are the google cache. F*#K YOU BLOGGER!!!!
Well, same is the case with me. I had my blog with more than 125,000 visitors per month and all my work was ruined by Blogger with just one email. And you said it right…. Blogger support is splendid (sarcastic!!!). Quoting your work in my article.
Thanks for warning us… Well once i had my blog on Blogspot… I migrated to self hosting after 2 months….
haha, yes blogger has deleted so many blogs and now they banned .co.cc domain. they say its spamming a lot and banning it.
.co.cc with self hosted wordpress is the perfect alternative to blogger and now google has de-indexed it.
This is happening to me right now! But I only average 50 hits/day. It’s been 3 days now an I’m panicked!
